Red, White & Blues Band

Red, White and Blues is a five-piece band that plays a variety of blues from all eras, styles, and genres, from the slow Chicago style, to the up tempo rock-n-roll style; classic Memphis standbys, to the modern Texan electric sounds, along with some of our their original blues songs.They give old-style blues songs an updated rock-n-roll roll feel; contemporary blues songs, along with some originals, just get blown into overdrive. Formed in the spring of 2006, after trying to put a band together for a couple years, Red, White and Blues played with several musicians until JJ Blues answered their ad in the local newspaper for a blues guitarist. Things fell apart with the bass player they were working with, so JJ called Fingers, who he played with in previous bands. JJ has known Jake for several years and asked him to come jam with everybody else. The band members were set, but Jake was splitting his time playing in another band. Fortunately for Red, White and Blues, Jake's other band had other plans, and Jake was able to devote all of his time and talent to getting Red, White and Blues ready to start playing some gigs.
