THE ‘BLUES DOCTOR’S PICKS FOR THE BEST 25 BLUES RELEASES FROM 2008
Last year was an excellent year for blues music and lovers of the genre! From all the great music released in 2008 it’s difficult to pick the “best” when so many releases were above average. For this reason my picks aren’t ranked but simply listed in alphabetical order by artist. If you’re favorite Blues or Blues-Rock CD doesn’t appear here it’s likely that it was in the running.

*NOTES* Westside Andy/Mel Ford’s Alley Cat came out in 2007 but I wasn’t aware of it until the summer of 2008. Either way it would have made the “Best of the Blues” one of the years – its great work from a long time Wisconsin favorite.
